SUNTORN JEWELRY

Through a school project focused on sustainable business, three other girls and I co-founded the jewelry brand Suntorn. Suntorn produces handcrafted, sustainable, long-lasting quality jewelry made from 100% recycled plastic, collected by our local suppliers in the heart of Aarhus. We believe that jewelry can be created based on sustainable principles without compromising either quality or aesthetic expression. We aim to create a responsible alternative in the jewelry industry that encourages a circular way of thinking. We do this by taking on a valueless waste material, giving it new life, and thereby extending the material's lifespan. From day one, Suntorn has had high demands on our partners, being selective in the selection of recyclable materials to create unique jewelry. Our ambition/vision is to design jewelry that contributes to a sustainable lifestyle, in which the product retains its value and is not discarded due to wear and tear on the material's appearance.
