BA FINAL PROJECT
2023
With my final BA project I decided to make a fictitious company. The brand strives to inspire consumers to buy qualitative over quantity, make an emotional attachment between product and user, and somehow give their version on how to make up against today’s fast fashion and over consumption. Tue Te wants to create unique styles, in simple feminine silhouettes, in unique materials that take inspiration in the sublime and shake our understanding of what classically beauty clothes are. With my collection I wanted to meet the needs of most people in society today. We all want to feel unique and special, and no one wants to look like the girls next door. The strategy is to make limited edition pieces, letting the process determine most of the outcome. Upcycling, hand painting, and natural dyeing are just some of the methods you can find in the collection. While the methods ensure that not two styles will ever look exactly alike, I hope to inspire the consumer to appreciate the unique pieces and make them feel special when wearing them. On each garment you can find a small number next to the label, which indicates how many or how few copies of this style are produced, ensuring that each garment is unique. Beneath you will find a small selection of my moodboards, trend research, overall process and photos of my final styles.
LOUISE LYNGH BJERREGAARD, PARIS
2022
FASHION DESIGN INTERNSHIP During my internship with acclaimed couture designer Louise Lyngh Bjerregaard in Paris, I quickly progressed to the role of studio manager. In this position, I oversaw a team of seven interns, managed in-house production of knit and textile items, communicating with the production, conducted meetings with i-D Magazine, and contributed actively to the design process.
HOSBJERG
2020
FASHION DESIGN INTERNSHIP During my internship at Danish brand Hosbjerg, I collaborated closely with the head of design, Astrid Gloria, and gained firsthand experience in the entire design process. This included design research, idea generation, trend analysis, color selection, printmaking, creating technical drawings and tech packs, participating in fittings, and providing feedback on prototypes. Several of my designs were eventually selected for production and retailed through platforms like Zalando.

MENSWEAR PROJECT
2022
My menswear project centralized on the natural dyeing of fabrics, drawing inspiration from grunge culture and incorporating elements of 1970s Italy. I experimented with food waste such as coffee grounds, red wine, and various vegetables to produce imperfect coloring and handpainted prints inspired by Nirvana songs.
SCHOOL PROJECT x SOULLAND
2024
Fast Fashion and over-production of clothing, that will get used very few times og even as disposable clothing is a huge problem for our planet. This assignment is written based on the curiosity of how to create a clothing collection, that will be used repeatedly. The assignment answers a thesis statement, as stated: How do you create a women’s collection for the danish brand Soulland, without seasons, that continues the brands design DNA, caters to the target audience, and create a print which is usable in different seasons. This thesis statement is answered by means of a design DNA-analysis, which summarizes Soullands continuous values, with the intent to bring these values into a new collection. A user-driven examination, in the form of “Show me your wardrobe” and a target audience description has been made to highlight the target audience’s needs and wishes, which in return will make it possible to create a collection that will be appreciated and absorbed. To ensure that the designs won’t be disposed after being worn once, the theory of infusing an object with time, from Kristine Harper, has also been used as a tool that can create products which holds an aesthetic value to the user. By using creative methods of ideation, and with inspiration from royal traditions, stretching from different parts of the world, a collection of 12 styles with 2 appurtenant prints have been created.
WOMENSWEAR PROJECT
2024
This school project is a womenswear A/W 22/23 collection, which I made at my 5th semester. It is called 'Kønt Kunst', which can be translated to 'Pretty Art'. Art is something we see as an investment. Something that will only increase value over time. Fashion on the other hand is often seen as a momentary item, that only last - or keep its value for much shorter time. In this school project I chose to work with aesthetic sustainability, and how to create value for the consumer, so the design can be used repeatedly. I wanted to create styles that arouse curiosity and can be seen as unique items in the wardrobe. That is why I chose art as main inspiration.
SUNTORN JEWELRY
2023
Through a school project focused on sustainable business, three other girls and I co-founded the jewelry brand Suntorn. Suntorn produces handcrafted, sustainable, long-lasting quality jewelry made from 100% recycled plastic, collected by our local suppliers in the heart of Aarhus. We believe that jewelry can be created based on sustainable principles without compromising either quality or aesthetic expression. We aim to create a responsible alternative in the jewelry industry that encourages a circular way of thinking. We do this by taking on a valueless waste material, giving it new life, and thereby extending the material's lifespan. From day one, Suntorn has had high demands on our partners, being selective in the selection of recyclable materials to create unique jewelry. Our ambition/vision is to design jewelry that contributes to a sustainable lifestyle, in which the product retains its value and is not discarded due to wear and tear on the material's appearance.
